How I Do Live Wedding Paintings For Your Special Day

You're getting married!!

How exciting!! This is an absolutely beautiful time in your lives and I am so thrilled to be able to share in your special day and paint your wedding into an artwork that will last you a lifetime.

Below you can find exactly how the process of my live wedding paintings work, from start to finish!

Pre-Wedding

Once you contact me, we will discuss your needs and requirements for your wedding day and assess if I am the right artist to capture your wedding day. Once it's determined that I'm the right fit, you will need to pay a 25% deposit to secure me for your wedding date, as well as sign a contract detailing your understanding of the services I provide and terms and conditions.

About 1-2 months prior to your wedding, I will contact you to discuss the composition and vision you have for your artwork, including which scene you'd like painted, the colours and tones, how you would both like to pose, etc. You let me know what you'd like and I make it happen!

On The Day

I will arrive as early as possible to have ample time to capture the photograph which will be used to paint your beautiful live painting. This will be at the location and scene which we have discussed prior to your wedding and will be well and truly organised to run smoothly with the rest of your run sheet on the day. I will start painting the captured image as soon as possible so that by the time your guests arrive they will already be able to see the artwork in progress.

Once the night concludes, you will be able to see an artwork that looks very close to finished, and I will show you the final result of the evening before I leave with your painting to take it back to the studio for final touches.

Post Wedding

Over the next 4-12 weeks I will endeavour to finish adding final touches and detailing to your artwork, as well as hanging wire if requested and a protective varnish coat. Please be aware that sometimes paintings can take longer to complete if they are bigger, or if it is peak wedding season (between the months of November - February).

Once your artwork is complete, I will contact you to organise delivery of your painting directly to your home where you can treasure it for life!
